In Old Saybrook March 14, 2012, Anthony Albergo, beloved husband of Frances Buletti Albergo of Branford.
He was born October 6, 1922 in New York, NY. He served in the U. S. Coast Guard in WW II, participating in the invasion at Normandy Beach, France on D-Day. He worked as the service manager at International Harvester in Mount Vernon, NY for many years until retiring. He has lived in Branford for the past 14 years and was a communicant of St. Therese Church in Branford.
Besides his wife he leaves his children, Joan Schell of Pleasantville, NY, Anthony (Elena) Albergo, JR of Guilford, and Patricia (Jude) Keneally of Coram, NY; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
His funeral will leave the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main St., Branford, Monday morning at 9:30 for a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Therese Church at 10:00. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY. Friends may call Sunday from 3 – 6 PM.
