Christopher James Dickinson of Branford, who graced us with absolute commitment to family, lost his courageous battle with cancer on Sunday November 5, 2017 in Boston, MA, after a brief illness. Chris was born July 10, 1974 in New London, CT, son of David and Carol Dickinson of Venice, FL. He was the beloved husband of Shanna Davis Dickinson and a wonderful father to his four children, Morgan Dickinson, Sage LaVacca, Liana Dickinson, and Gabriel Cuozzo. Christopher also leaves behind his sister, Kimberley Price of Tampa, FL and his brother David Dickinson of Boston. Christopher graduated Wethersfield High School in 1992 and Babson College in 1996. He was the Vice-President of Collateral for AIG at the time of his death.
In his spare time, Chris loved spending time with his wife and four children, loved to travel and play golf. He was a devoted husband, father, friend and employee and touched the lives of so many people that he met. His morals and convictions were unshakable and Chris was a true man of his word every day. The family would like to thank all the nurses, doctors and staff at both Mass General Hospital and Smilow Cancer Hospital.
Friends and relatives are invited to a Celebration of Chris’ Life Thursday afternoon from 2:00 - 4:00 at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to the Smilow Cancer Hospital to promote cancer research.
