Claude Virgulto of Branford died on Sunday at the Hospital of St. Raphael. He was the son of the late Stanley and Ida Virgulto. He was the brother of Mark Virgulto (wife Lydia) of East Haven, Marguerite Gambardella (husband Vincent of Westbrook, and Stanley Virgulto (wife Peggy) of East Haven. He is also survived by his life partner Joann Amarone and his step-daughter Krista Tullock, as well as 19 nieces and nephews.
Claude was born in new Haven on May 20, 1958. He was a computer programmer analyst for the Norwalk Hospital, Caldor, and Perelli Tires. He was an accomplished musician and artist, as well as being an enthusiast of the sport of fencing.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10:00 at St. Vincent DePaul Church in East Haven. Interment of his urn will follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery in West Haven. The W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main St. Branford is in care of arrangements.
