David M. Lubeski of Branford, died Thursday January 4, 2018 at Connecticut Hospice. He was the beloved husband of Deborah O’Malley Lubeski.
David was born in New Haven April 3, 1957 son of the late Stanley Lubeski and Janet Vishno Lubeski. He was a lifelong resident of Branford. Dave was a self-employed residential carpenter. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. He loved fishing in the Sound and wrote a book to honor his adventures “A Sound Living - One Fisherman’s Journey.”
Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Kelly Lubeski of Branford, and Daniel Lubeski of Jacksonville, FL; his brothers, Mark and Steven Lubeski, both of Branford, and his sisters, Karen Clendening of CA and Lori Lubeski of Boston.
Friends may call Wednesday morning from 9:00 - 10:30 at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford, and are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Church at 11:00.
In lieu of flowers, donations to provide for a bench at Branford Point in Dave’s memory may be made to his daughter Kelly Lubeski and sent to the funeral home.
