Dorothy Raggozino Abrams of North Branford, died Monday February 5, 2018 at her home.

Dorothy was born October 5, 1937 in New Haven, CT, daughter of the late William and Frances Soreca Raggozino. She worked as an account assistant at Yale University for 15 years until retiring in 2013. She was a member and former Sunday school teacher at Tabor Lutheran Church in Branford. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her greatest loves, as was her unwavering faith, that no matter the obstacle, family was always in the forefront of her mind.

Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Debbie (Bob) Peterson of Branford, Sherrie (Glen) Shorey of Chester, CT and Denise (Joseph) Kovecses of Branford; her grandchildren, Cassandra (Bradd) Walker of Middletown and Patrick (Mihra) Shorey of Boston; and her great-grandchildren, Evan and Grant Walker. She was predeceased by her sisters, Anita Benevich, Marie Pisano and Lillian Anderson.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Saturday February 17, 2018, from 1:00 - 3:00 PM, with a prayer service at 3:00, at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford.
