Edmund C. Balcerzak of Branford, died Saturday May 16, 2015 at his home.
Mr. Balcerzak was born in New Haven August 26, 1957, son of Ursula Merten Balcerzak of Highlands Ranch, CO and the late Edmund Balcerzak. He formerly owned an Arnold Bread route and Willow Farms in New Haven, and presently was the owner of four Edible Arrangements shops in Connecticut. He was a very generous, hardworking and well respected man who always put his family first. Ed was an avid Boston Red Sox fan.
Besides his mother he is survived by his children, Christopher (Stephanie) Balcerzak, Ursula Balcerzak and Eric (Victoria) Balcerzak, all of Branford; and his brothers and sisters, Ursula Marshall, Rosemary Volage of Hebron, CT, Helena White of Inola, OK, Henry "Hank" (Vicky) Balcerzak of Ocala, FL and Kenneth (Wendy) Balcerzak of Highlands Ranch, CO. He was the devoted and loving grandpa of Aryana "Sweetness" Mansi, Macen "Champ" Mansi, Giavana "Peewee" Mansi and Hailie "Rugrat" Page. Ed was predeceased by his step-daughter, Heather Balcerzak and his brother John Balcerzak.
Friends may call Thursday from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford. Funeral service and burial will be private at the convenience of his family.
