Frances M. Rollis Prishwalko died Saturday March 2, 2013 at her home in Branford. She was the wife of the late John Prishwalko.
Frances was born October 4, 1918 in Branford, a daughter of the late John and Anna Rollis. She was a lifelong resident of Branford and communicant of St. Mary Church. She had worked as a caterer for many years. She also worked for Stanley Products, Avon and Tupperware. She was a former driver for the Red Cross. She was a past member of St. Mary Ladies Guild.
Frances is survived by her daughters, Frances Carsten of Glover, VT, Catherine Prishwalko of Branford, Roberta Lysiak of Cheshire, and Jocelyn Prishwalko of East Haddam; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her sons, John and Gregory Prishwalko, her sisters, Stasia Raiola, Anna Shiner and Victoria Knight, and her brothers, Joseph, Anthony and Dominic Rollis.
Her funeral will leave the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main St., Branford, Wednesday morning at 10:00 for a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Church at 10:30. Burial will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery. Friends may call prior to the funeral from 9 – 10 AM.
