Judith Wilson Martin, of Nesconset, NY, formerly of Branford and East Haven, died Saturday September 9, 2017 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Judy was born January 26, 1953 in New Haven, daughter of George Wilson of Branford and the late Elizabeth Vogt Wilson. She worked in the accounting department for MARS in Long Island. She was a former member of the United Methodist Church of Branford for many years, prior to moving to Long Island. She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Lynn (Jesse) Edwards of Hamden and Jennifer Ann (Todd) Gorski of Branford; her grandchildren, Darien, Adriana, Bodyn and Penelope; and her sister, Betsy Wilson Gerosa of Branford. She was predeceased by her sister Deborah Wenziak Stone.
Judy was an animal lover who enjoyed spending time with her cats and going to the pond to feed the ducks and the geese. She also enjoyed listening to Christian music and attending Christian concerts. Her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her grandchildren, either taking them to concerts or just hanging out at home with them. Judy was a warm and generous person, willing to do anything and everything for her family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service Saturday afternoon at 2:00 PM at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford.
