In New Haven March 3, 2013, Julia Riccio Coppola Donofrio, wife of the late Salvatore Donofrio, formerly of 26 Monroe St., Branford.
Mrs. Donofrio was born in New Haven July 20, 1911, daughter of the late Jack and Victoria Mazzacane Riccio, and adopted as a child by Pasquale and Mariagiuseppa Coppola of Branford. She worked as a seamstress for Sero Shirt Co., and she was a communicant of St. Mary Church, Branford.
She is survived by her children, Louis T. Donofrio of Branford, Grace Novak of Derby and Patrick Donofrio of West Haven, 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Dolores Takores, 6 sisters and 3 brothers.
Funeral from the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main St., Branford, Friday morning at 10:00 for a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Church at 10:30. Burial will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery. Friends may call prior to the funeral from 9 – 10 am.
