Richard John White, Jr., 47, of North Branford, entered into eternal rest on Monday May 11, 2015, suddenly from an aneurysm.
Richie was born in New Haven November 30, 1967, son of Judith Farkash of North Branford, and the late Richard J. White, Sr. He was a lifelong resident of North Branford and a graduate of North Branford High School in 1986. He graduated from Technical Career Institute for auto body repair and painting. He worked for Tilcon Connecticut in North Branford for 16 years as plant operator, until his plant closed.
Richie loved collecting sea glass, driftwood, antiques, precious coins and American Indian artifacts. His arrowhead collection will be placed in the Atwater Library in North Branford for display. Richie had a passion for Ford Mustangs and loved the two that he owned.
Besides his mother, Richie is survived by a sister Tracie Ann White of North Branford, his uncle John Farkash Jr. and aunt Jane Farkash of FL; his half-brother David Anthony White of East Haven, half-sister Sherry Ann Marie White of New Haven, five cousins and two nephews. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, John and Mildred Farkash. Richie was a devoted son, brother and friend, and a good hearted soul to all of his family and friends. He will be forever loved and missed by all who knew him.
Funeral from the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Branford, Friday morning at 9:15 for a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Augustine Church, North Branford, at 10:00. Burial will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 5 – 7 PM.
