Robert F. Barnes, of Flemington, NJ, formerly of Branford, died Sunday February 24, 2013.
Bob was born February 23, 1958 in New Haven, a son of the late Charles Barnes and Jacquelyn Perry Henninger, and step-son of the late George "Hawk" Henninger.
He was a 1976 graduate of Branford High School, where he was a member of the football team. He graduated from Dean College in Massachusetts in 1980. Bob worked in the telecommunications field. He worked at AT+T for over 15 years, before becoming vice-president of Telesource Networking. He was also the owner and CEO of the Stanton Group consulting company in Flemington.
Bob is survived by his sisters, Karen Paradis of East Haven and Gretchen Henninger-Spear of Wintersville, OH. He is also survived by his nephews, Kyle and Ricky Spear of Winterville and Jason Paradis of Miami Beach, FL.
Relatives and friends may call Monday from 4 – 8 PM at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main St., Branford. Funeral and burial will be private.
