Stella Dymarczyk Adinolfi, wife of the late Francis G. Adinolfi of Branford, died peacefully in New Haven surrounded by her family on November 24, 2011.
She was born August 30, 1921 in Poland, daughter of the late Stanley and Mary Dzyruda Dymarczyk. She had formerly worked for A. C Gilbert, Tilo Roofing and Grants. For many years, Stella volunteered at St. Mary School in Branford, and at Notre Dame High School in West Haven. She maintained spectacular gardens at her home, and enjoyed arts and crafts.
Stella is the loving mother of Dr. Michael Adinolfi, MD of New Orleans, Mary (Curtis) Manseau of West Haven, and Paul (Anne) Adinolfi of Branford; and loving grandmother to Michelle, Mary Catherine, Jane and Rachel Adinolfi, Ryan, Kasey, Kara and Brendan Adinolfi and Michael and Ashley Manseau; and sister of Laura Moore of North Haven.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Alice Corcoran, Mary Huzar, Alec, Benny and Stanley Dymarczyk.
Funeral from the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main St., Branford, Monday morning at 9:30 for a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Church at 10:00. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven. Friends may call prior to the funeral from 8:30-9:30 am.
