William E. Howard of Hamden, formerly of Branford, died Friday February 1, 2019 in New Haven. He was the husband of the late Florence Olszewski Howard.
Bill was born in New Haven January 2, 1928 son of the late James H. and Margaret Kiernan Howard. He was employed by the State of Connecticut for many years, prior to retiring in the early 1980’s. He was an avid outdoorsman. Bill is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, James and John Howard and his sisters, Margaret Dougherty, Mary Perez and Elizabeth Flagge.
Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday February 7, 2019 at 10:00 AM in St. Mary Church at St. John Bosco Parish, 731 Main Street, Branford. Burial will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
